We get that we service homes, not accounts or addresses.
This company has grown because our hometown bond guides us in everything we do. It’s almost as if we’re working in our own
backyards. Plus, if you tell us you’re going to the beach in La Jolla, we’ll probably ask which one.

Our story

GL Pools began as a small, family-run business in 2006. Founded by second-generation pool technician Austin Gardiner, it was built on trust, craftsmanship, and care.

How GL Pools builds

GL Pools was founded in 2006 on the belief that the pool service industry needed more experts.

Ever since, we’ve developed and promoted our own staff as a principle, and equipped them with the highest degree of professional knowledge. We want our average technician coming out of training to have a more robust knowledge of the industry than most pool service business owners.

I met GL Pools from my pool contractor as this is who he hired for the start up service. I was so impressed with the kindness and care of everyone I met/spoke to, that I hired them to maintain my pool after the initial start up service concluded. They do a top-tier job twice a week which keeps my pool sparkling perfection. Friendly, attentive, supportive, and empowering employees abound, and I couldn't be more grateful they service my pool.

We switched to GL pools several months ago. It has been the most wonderful experience and best decision we made for our pool service and weekly cleaning. They are responsive, respectful, honest, knowledgeable, friendly and really take the time to answer your questions and explain things in detail. Very good pricing too! Called GL Pools for an estimate. I received a fast response and he scheduled the estimate quickly. Upon meeting with Ryan he was professional and seemed knowledgeable about our equipment. He provided us with a detailed estimate and took pictures of our pool which was presented in the estimate (very nice). I will definitely contacting Ryan for their service.

I think GL is a very good pool service company. The repair guy in my area, Ken Hirsch is great. Always explains everything and i can count on the problem being fixed. Their weekly service techs are all very good and personable. The only thing I don't always like is that they change techs in my are frequently. I have had probably 6 or 7 different service guys and gals in the past 3-4 years. Like I said, they are all trained well, but it seems that as soon as we get used to the same person and he/she gets used to our pool, they are gone. Overall, pretty happy with GL Pools!
